She will make your feet move like you wouldn’t believe, with her stirring rhythms and strong vocals- Nick South, Outline magazine
She is committed to music and dance, and her energy and enthusiasm are obvious
Annie Hirst- Norfolk MagazineShe sings with immense energy and wild passion and stomps the ground in some kind of fury, acting as though she is calling up the spirits.
Naomi Canton- Evening newsOne of the attractions of Mudeka’s performance is its innate cheerfulness and passion for her music combined with the infectious beat.

The Anna Mudeka Band (Zimbabwe)
Once you listen to the rhythms of Africa, you have to give it your soul”. Anna Mudeka is one of the youngest African singers causing a stir in the UK and Europe at the moment. She is regarded one of the best dancers and singers of her time, after over 15 years of international touring and recording. Her gritty, soaring vocals and rich instrumental virtuosity continues to resonate, soothe and uplift your soul. Prepare to have your dancing shoes defeated and your eyes stinging with sweat as you dance and sing the night away.Having worked with some of Africa’s leading master musicians like Thomas Mapfumo, Ephat Mujuru and recently the Queen of Mbira music Stella Chiweshe, Anna’s music heritage continually re-invents itself over the years through her work with some of the best musicians on the world music scene in the UK and Africa.
