We are a tiny village of fewer than 100 households situated deep in the English countryside of Norfolk, 16 km West of Norwich. It is a scattered community spread across a network of lanes along a 2 km NE – SW corridor with the Church and the Village Hall, (The Old Schoolroom) at its centre.

Welborne comes under the jurisdiction of Runham Parish Council. Runhall Parish Council is democratically elected and also includes the villages of Brandon Parva, Coston and Runhall.

The Parish Council meets every two months to discuss local issues.
