Fiddlesticks North West Clog Dancers Fiddlesticks North West Clog Dancers are a group of 8 - 16 dancers and 3 - 8 musicians including accordion, melodeon, bouzouki, tin whistle, drums and fiddle. Their style of clog dancing originated in the early 1900s in the northwest of England and the dancers wear the everyday footwear of the time (wooden soled clogs). The dances, using garlands, slings, hankies or sticks decorated with ribbons and bells are often named after their town of origin. |
